This scenic location is open until 3 am and a great place for all kinds of special occasions. At Gonpachi, customers from overseas can get a taste of Japanese culture as well as Japanese hospitality. Known for being the location of former-US President Bush and former-Prime Minister Koizumi’s Izakaya Summit, and even more famously known for its scene in Quentin Tarantino’s 2004 film Kill Bill, Gonpachi’s Nishi-Azabu location has a nostalgic atmosphere that brings you back to a Japan of a bygone era. We use carefully selected, regionally-sourced ingredients in everything from the fresh buckwheat that our chefs grind into a flour and use to make our famous homemade soba noodles to our tempura fried to crispy perfection. At "Aqua City Odaiba", the Japanese-style soba dining on the 4th floor of the Mediage restaurant area, the atmosphere is preeminent!There are a lot of table seats in the warm color lighting with a little lighting off. The Rainbow Bridge is perfect from the small digging kotatsu seat by the window! This view is amazing!◎ Momo ware 291 yen x 2, Tsukune 324 yen x 2 ◎ Gonpachi pizza 734 yen ◎ Croquette 378 yen ◎ Gon salad 734 yen ◎ Tofu salad 734 yen ◎ Bottled beer 594 yen × 2, highball 529 yen, shochu 702 yen , Fresh grape sour 669 yen, etc., and the total of 2 people is about 6900 yen.In terms of taste, it is usually delicious and the customer service is wonderful! I think it's a store that's worth it because you can eat in this atmosphere.(Visit December 2016)

Great Izakaya restaurant with good quality/price. The tuna and the beef meat sticks are delicious. It is a chain store, being the most famous one the stoe in Nishi Azabu, where Quentin Tarantino got inspiration for one of the scenes in Kill Bill (it was not shoot there, contrary to what it is believed). If you can go to that one because of the atmosphere, if you can only go to this one, well at least the food is the same.
